Resources for Parents of Children with Special Needs
You've heard it before--"Every child is special, and therefore, don't all children have special needs?"
While this may be true, parents of children who are differently-abled (whether physically, mentally, intellectually, socially, or sensory-based to name a few) know that there are some circumstances where you need a little help!
And here's another oldie but goodie--"It takes a village to raise a child." Only...what happens when you don't have a village available? Many parents are on their own, navigating the waters of healthcare, education, legal, independence and more.
That's where TUFF is here to help!
We know from personal experience how overwhelming it can be to navigate these uncharted territories for a parent and child. We want to be a resource parents and community members can use in all areas of daily life. We specialize in helping students acquire life-skills and seek employability. We also certify businesses who wish to employ people with unique skills. All while offering workshops and webinars to partner with parents who desire to become stronger advocates for their children. It's a multi-pronged approach, but one we feel works best to meet the needs of the communities we serve.
